We are pleased to announce the annual Summer Research Program at University of Tsukuba. The Faculty of Medicine and the Faculty of Life and Environmental Sciences would like to invite our partner institutions to apply for the Program to be held from July 23 - August 3, 2018.

Selected students will be assigned to a laboratory within the Faculty of Medical Sciences or Life and Environmental Science. The students will take part in research, attend lectures and present their research results. During the two-week period, both international and Tsukuba students will have an opportunity for cultural exchange and scientific discussion.

We plan to have special lectures and social events. Cultural talks are also planned to provide the students with opportunities to learn about Japanese culture. The students are expected to work hard and play hard and get the most out of this program. We sincerely hope that the Summer Research Program becomes an unforgettable experience for all the participating students.

In particular, we are interested having undergraduate and graduate students who are considering to attend graduate school or obtaining doctoral degree in biomedical or life science.

Application deadline: April 19th (Japan time), 2018.
