Annoucement of Workshop on Infection Diagnosis 2019

Workshop on Infection Diagnosis 8.2019: Understanding of antimicrobial resistance and methods to detect resistant bacteria
o    Date:        August 26 - 28, 2019 (9AM – 5PM).
o    Place:      Biotechnology Center of HCMC (http://www.hcmbiotech.com.vn<http://www.hcmbiotech.com.vn/>).
o    Class size:           25 participants.
o    Fee (for reagents and supplies): 1,000,000 VND (Vietnam Dong one million).
* Fee is waived for Vietnamese students with full-time undergraduate or graduate student status. You must submit a copy of your current transcript from your institution along with your application form to be eligible for fee waiver.
o    Description: IIn this workshop, participants will approach the emerging topic of infection “Understanding of antimicrobial resistance” and will practice at the laboratory the methods to detect resistant bacteria. Throughout the workshop participants will have the opportunities to share and discuss the experiences in the field and solutions to treat resistant bacteria.
o    Application Deadline: July 15, 2019.
o    Qualified applicants will be notified by July 30, 2019.
o    Lunch will not be provided. You may purchase at canteen at Biotechnology Center HCMC or bring your own.
