Gene Editing Workshop 2019 – Call for Application
The Faculty of Medicine from University of Tsukuba, in cooperation with Biotechnology Center of HCMC, is going to organize the “Gene Editing Workshop 2019” in Ho Chi Minh City. Purpose of this course is to give practical training for biomedical research students and young scientists of Vietnam and Japan.
The course will be conducted in English.

- Date: February 25 – 27, 2019 (9AM – 5PM).
- Place: Biotechnology Center of HCMC (Số 2374, Quốc lộ 1, khu phố 2, phường Trung Mỹ Tây, Quận 12, TP. Hồ Chí Minh)

- Class size: 20 participants.
- Fee (for Reagents and Supplies): 2,000,000 VND (Vietnam Dong two million).
* Fee is waived for Vietnamese students with full-time undergraduate or graduate student status. You must submit a copy of your current transcript from your institution along with your application form to be eligible for fee waiver.
- Description: A laboratory training course introduces a methodology to understand the function of gene using CRISPR technology. Series of lectures and research talks are also planned by University of Tsukuba faculty to introduce latest techniques and application using CRISPR technology.
- Application Deadline: January 23, 2019.
- Qualified applicants will be notified by January 31, 2019.
- Lunch will not be provided. You may purchase at canteen at Biotechnology Center HCMC or bring your own.
