    General Molecular Biology techniques - Undergraduate program

    Major Scientific interests

    Biological activities of natural compounds, especially medicinal substances and traditional formulae, are studied using cellular and molecular methods. Cytotoxic, immunomodulatory and antioxidative effects are determined on human cell lines and PBMC by MTT, SRB, caspase- assays, DNA fragmentation analysis, fluorescence microscopy, Western blot, DCFH-DA, DPPH, microarray analysis, RT-PCR.
