Position name: Field Application Specialist

Job Responsibilities 

• Provide technical support during sales process by demonstrating full range of Esco Aster’s product features including potential uses, product capabilities and benefits to customers.

• Accountable in leading the application and sharing best practices for Esco Aster’s Upstream downstream bioprocessing and diagnostics products and services including experimental/demo set-up, troubleshooting, data analysis, and instrumentation functionality.

• Prepare and conduct on site end-user seminars, workshops or trainings for customers and relevant stakeholders.

• Assist end users in designing, developing, and optimizing experimental methodology, demonstrating the effectiveness of our technical services; provide customer support during the evaluation and implementation process.

• Troubleshoot, develop and recommend solutions for issues that may arise as a result of end user's technical skills, experiment design or process development/optimization process.

• Coordinate with product development team to meet customers’ needs.

• Work with business and marketing team to segment the market, identify customer opportunities and formulate marketing strategies accordingly.

• Support commercial and scientific team in Singapore/Vietnam to acquire local clinical collaborators especially in the areas of cell therapy, vaccines, biosimilars and other solutions that utilize our Mfg platforms.

• Provide proactive follow-up support to Key Customers; actively develop and maintain a network of customers in Vietnam market.

• Work closely with Esco Aster and local office teams by representing the company at relevant trade shows/conferences (performing product demonstration and promotion) and supporting customer and dealer trainings.

• Aid in setting up local internal or with collaborator application/training/service labs in Hanoi, Danang/Hue, Saigon.

• Working to compile and meet KOLs to promote our technology.

• Recommend future process innovations and improvements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree and above in Biology or related disciplines.

• At least 3 years relevant working experience.

• Fluent in written and spoken English and Vietnamese.

• Ability to work independently and in a team

• Ability to communicate effectively with customers. 

• Hardworking and eager to learn.
