The timeline of international student admission application for Spring semester, 2023 is as follow:
- Admission Application Period: Nov. 18 - Dec. 2, 2022 (Applications including scholarship must be submitted through the website.)
- Admission Results Announced: The 1st week of Jan, 2023 (Tentative)
- Admission Notices Mailed: The 2nd week of Jan, 2023 (Tentative)
No application fee is needed.
NCNU offers two types of International Student Scholarship: Stipend and the tuition reduction.
1. Stipend:
- Master Program: The minimum amount of the university-level scholarship per person per month ranges from NT$2,000 to NT$4,000. The scholarship is granted twelve months a year for a maximum of two years.
- PhD Program: The minimum amount of the university-level scholarship per person per month ranges from NT$6,000 to NT$8,000. The scholarship is granted twelve months a year for a maximum of four years.
2. Tuition Reduction:
Two types of waivers: Partial reduction (Tuition and fee criteria as domestic registered students) and full-waiver.
- Bachelor Program: The maximum reduction period for a bachelor’s program is utmost 4 years.
- Master Program: The maximum exemption of tuition fees (tuition per credit) for the master program is up to 12 credits per semester for 2 years.
- PhD Program: The maximum exemption of tuition fees (tuition per credit) for the PhD program is up to 12 credits per semester for 4 years.
