Call for Applications MS, PhD and Integrated PhD Positions in Medical Research Center (MRC)

On behalf of Professor Byung-Hoon Kim from the Department of Biodental Engineering, College of Dentistry at Chosun University, I am pleased to announce openings for motivated Vietnamese students for the Spring 2027 semester (start in March 2027).
The laboratory is currently seeking candidates for Master (MS), Doctoral (PhD) or Integrated (Master’s-PhD) programs. Our core research areas include:
- Tissue Engineering
- Plasma Medicine
- K-beauty Technologies
*Financial Support & Benefits
Monthly Stipend: 
- MS Candidates: 1,500,000 KRW/month.
- PhD Candidates: 2,000,000 KRW/month.
- Integrated Candidates: 1,500,000 KRW/month for the first year (increasing to 2,000,000 KRW/month upon transitioning to the PhD phase).
*Tuition Fees: Approximately 500,000 KRW/month. Exceptional candidates (ranked within the top 15% of incoming international students) may qualify for a tuition reduction to approximately 200,000 KRW/month.
*Performance Incentives: Professor Kim is very supportive regarding financial welfare; students demonstrating excellent research performance can have a chance for further increases in subsequent semesters.
*Candidate Requirements
- Academic Background: A degree in Engineering, Biology, or Chemistry.
- Language Proficiency: Minimum IELTS 5.5 (or equivalent).
*Preferred Location: Candidates currently based in Ho Chi Minh City or Hanoi are highly encouraged to apply.
