Cancer Biology and Stem Cell Biology
Postdoctoral fellow positions are available immediately at City of Hope, one of a prestigious group of NCI-
designated Comprehensive Cancer Centers. The successful applicant will join a highly competitive
research lab to investigate molecular mechanisms underlying transcriptional control and cell signaling during the course of tumorigenesis and development. Specifically, the applicants will use “cutting-edge” and unique genetically-engineered mouse models to uncover gene-expression and genomic and epigenetic alterations in stem/progenitor cells and cancer initiation cells.
Candidate should have a Ph.D. or M.D/Ph.D. degree in Cancer Biology, Molecular Biology, Genetics, Biochemistry, Cell Biology, or a related field. Candidates should also have a proven track record of creativity and productivity. They should be highly self-motivated, strong desire to learn, and have excellent communication skills. Previous experience with mouse models of human diseases, cancer biology, molecular biology, or genetics is highly desired, but not required. We provide a fruitful research and training environment and competitive salary and fringe benefit. Please send your current resume and cover letter to Dr. ZJ Sun at zjsun@coh.org for consideration.
